Yet the world we live in makes it difficult to make healthy food choices. Processed, chemical and preservative laden junk is EVERYWHERE. Wheat-Free Cranberry Granola

As a kid growing up, granola was considered a “treat” according to my Mom. She refused to buy junk food and heavily sugared cereals and would make us her delicious granola and oatmeal cookies. Of course, I didn’t appreciate it so much back then because I would’ve killed for an Oreo cookie. But now, I am so grateful for the healthful food lessons learned in my Mom’s kitchen. This granola is an adaptation of her recipe as well as some of my own discoveries over the years and contains fiber-rich, nutritious whole grains and is mostly organic.
